Limited Lifetime Warranty

Breaking a rod is never a good experience, one we try to avoid, but from time to time it does happen. We at FishStyx Custom Rods want to get you back in action as quickly as possible.


The Right Thing Policy: We at FishStyx always want to do the “right thing” for our customers. In order to make that happen, we offer a one time, no questions asked, rod replacement for the original owner for the first three (3) months. This policy is valid only for the first three months from the date of purchase. To be eligible, the broken rod must be returned along with proof of purchase (or a warranty registration card must be on file with FishStyx). Simply return the broken rod along with the shipping expense and your rod will be replaced as soon as possible. No other expense is incurred by the rod owner.


Should any FishStyx Rod break after the “Right Thing” policy period has ended, and the break is determined to be a manufactures defect, FishStyx will replace the rod at no cost, only the shipping fee would be owed. 


  • Upon receipt of the rod, we will determine if the break is the result of a manufacturers defect, an accident, misuse or wear and tear. FishStyx reserves the right to determine if a break is due to defect or accident.
  • If the break is the result of an accident (no matter what or how), your rod is eligible for replacement under the guidelines which follow.
  • Failures as a result of defect will normally occur in the first few trips.

 

For any rod returns to FishStyx, please follow the steps listed:

  • Contact FishStyx at Phone: 704-661-9308 or Email: fishstyx@nc.rr.com. We will advise on how to ship as inexpensively as possible.
  • Return your broken rod with the break clearly marked (tape is an excellent method);
  • Include a completed Warranty Repair form (available on the website);
  • Include the appropriate Replacement Fee and shipping expense.

All rods are offered with a Lifetime Warranty for manufacturer defects, to the original purchaser. The following apply if the break is NOT judged to be a defect.

Failure to submit the required documents, fees and broken rod will result in a delay in processing.


Note:

Should your model have been discontinued, it will be replaced with the closest alternative available. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.  Purchaser must have a proof of purchase or have submitted a Warranty Card indicating date of purchase.
