FishStyx Limited Life Time Warranty

Fishstyx Custom Rods, LLC will warranty your new rod based on the product purchased, the terms of the warranty for the respective product and your compliance with the process outlined below. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.


Purchaser must have a proof of purchase or have submitted a Warranty Card indicating the date of purchase. A warranty replacement cannot be processed without proper documentation.


The Right Thing Policy: We at FishStyx always want to do the “right thing” for our customers and we want you to get back to using your FishStyx as soon as possible. In order to make that happen, we offer a one time, no questions asked, rod replacement for the original owner for the first three (3) months. This policy is valid only for the first three months from the date of purchase. To be eligible, the broken rod must be returned along with proof of purchase (or a warranty registration card must be on file with FishStyx).  Should your rod break, return the broken rod along with $42.50 shipping and handling and your rod will be replaced as soon as possible.


Should any FishStyx Rod break after the “Right Thing” policy period has ended, but during the Lifetime of the original owner, and the break is determined to be a manufactures defect, FishStyx will replace the rod with no fee.  

·     Upon receipt of the rod, we will determine if the break is the result of a manufacturers defect, an accident, misuse or negligence.  FishStyx reserves the right to determine if a break is due to defect or accident.

·     If the break is the result of an accident (no matter what or how), your rod is still eligible for replacement under the guidelines which follow.

·     Failures as a result of defect normally occur in the first few trips.


For any rod returns to FishStyx, please follow the steps listed:

·     Contact FishStyx at Phone: 704-661-9308 or Email: fishstyx@nc.rr.com.  We will advise on how to ship as inexpensively as possible.

·     Return your broken rod with the break clearly marked (tape is an excellent method);

·     Include a completed Warranty Repair form (available on the website);

·     Include the appropriate Replacement Fee;

·     Include $42.50 Shipping and handling fee.


Replacement Fee:

·     Clearwater - $50 replacement fee, plus S&H

·     WickedStyx - $80 replacement fee, plus S&H

·     Custom Rods - $100 replacement fee, plus S&H


Failure to submit the required documents, fees and broken rod will result is a delay in processing.

·      Applicable to all rods purchased after 11/1/2018, if you purchased prior to effective date, contact FishStyx to address warranty claims and their immediate resolution.
